<DIV>Hi All! </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Wanted to share the latest on my little Maya pig. It's been about 6 weeks and it looks like</DIV> <DIV>she may have her stone and sludge issues under control. We are continuing to give her</DIV> <DIV>unsweetened cranberry juice 3 x per day and shilintong 2 x per day. She is also drinking</DIV> <DIV>alot more water (she was always a good drinker). I think this stuff is really working.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Over the past week, her appetite has fully returned and she has gained weight (whew!). She</DIV> <DIV>was always a small piggy (0.7 kg), so this is very relieving! </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>However, we now have a new issue. She has cystitis and urine scald. She is still taking</DIV> <DIV>antibiotics and is also on metacam. Her vulva is swollen, she has sores, and constantly</DIV> <DIV>licks her rear. I soak her bottom and clean the
affected area daily. I'm also applying some</DIV> <DIV>calendula a few times per day. This seems to give her some relief. We also started giving</DIV> <DIV>her some liquid echinecea last night.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Does anyone know what works best for cleaning the area. I've been using some hibiclens in</DIV> <DIV>warm water for soaking. Would a mild soap work better?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks everyone!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- Jamie & Piggie friends</DIV> <DIV>Maya, Cookie, Annie, Gracie, Conan, Harry, and Lloyd</DIV><p>
