Hi All:

I want to sincerely thank all of you for the advice and support
surrounding Priscilla's stones & eventual passing. I didn't mean to
drop out of "sight" but I found that I was hit pretty hard by losing
this little girl. It's been nearly 3 months now, and just writing
about losing her I'm still finding myself sitting here crying. I
miss her tremendously.

Her cagemate, Lisa, is doing well. Amazingly enough, having had a
major ear infection that left her with slight facial paralysis,
nearly losing an eye and undergoing surgery for what the vet
determined was a "highly aggressive malignant thyroid tumor" Lisa's
now the better part of 6 years old and still going strong. We
recently welcomed a new piggie, Rachael, to our family. At 1 1/2
years old, she's a little ball of energy. Lisa goes between running
around with her new friend, to sitting in her house looking at
Rachael like she's crazy bouncing all over the place.

But I've taken some of the things I've learned from the list, made a
few changes to their diet in hopes of avoiding future stone piggies.

Hug your piggies for me,

Gloria.
