I haven't posted to this thread since 2003 and since all three of our guineas (Rachel, Boopsie, and Peaches) have passed away and we now have a cat.

After Rachel had two surgeries for bladder stones we moved her onto Polycitra Syrup and additional water (a mixture in a Nyquil cap of baby food like carrot and peas), water, and only certain fresh vegetables.  Based on that, and ONLY Oxboy hay and pellets, Rachel lived an additional two years with no additional bouts of bladder stones.
