[Stones] Polycitra dilution?

First of all, thank you to all for sharing so informative posts. I have been doing a lot of reading on these pages, as my 9-month old female piggie was recently diagnosed with a bladder stone via x-ray. It is very small, so the vet has prescribed Polycitra and a recheck in one month.

I got the prescription filled after getting it today and was then told by the pharmacist that Polycitra must be diluted. My vet didn't mention this, and as we were the vet's last Saturday appointment before the New Year holiday, I have been unable to reach her by phone. Her office is closed until January 2.

I will not give meds to my piggie without understanding the proper protocol.

My questions:

What is the proper dilution ratio for Polycitra?
(My piggies' weight is 2.6 lbs. and the dosage on the bottle is 0.1 ml twice daily.)

Should I dilute with water or ???

Is Polycitra effective in degrading calcium carbonate? (My piggie's labs showed calcium carbonate at a +3 in her urine, all other panels came back normal and w/no infection.)

Is there a better approach to treating this (probably calcium carbonate) stone other than Polycitra?

Thanks for any wisdom on this. I appreciate it!

-Kelly
