[Stones] Update on Maya

  We went to the vet on Friday. Maya has went from being a stone pig to a sludge pig. Her
  bladder is still irritated, but "feels much better than 2 weeks ago". He looked at her urine
  under the microscope and saw alot of very very tiny crystals which look like little dog
  bones. The vet thinks our strategy of unsweetened cranberry juice 3 x per day, shilintong 2
  x per day, and antibiotics 1 x per day seems to be working. He is optimistic that continuing
  this regimin will clean out her system, allow her bladder walls to heal. We just can't let the
  crystals precipitate into stones again. Thank god she is a pig with a GI track that handles
  anitbiotics so well because we are going on 6 weeks now. 
   
  Over the past few days, her appetite has improved and she is drinking alot more water. Her
  coat is back to being shiny and smooth as well. I am praying that this strategy works. She is
  such a sweet little pig and has been such a trooper through all of this. Putting up with
  mommy and daddy and the many syringe feedings has to be stressful. We give her lots
  and lots of extra love though!
