I wrote about Mimi's ongoing bladder problems in fall of last year.

In the meantime she had a her bladder flushed (my vet did this well) with the result that in a matter of a few weeks a stones stucked in her uretha.

I scheduled a new appointment for the removal as Mimi was clearly in pain. Before the procedure could be performed, another x-ray was taken with the result that the stone has passed already. No surgery was necessary and I was really proud of my darling Mimi.

I keep Mimi now on towels (changed twice a day) to avoid possible problems due to shavings.

Last weekend I noticed again that Mimi was unconfortable and we appeared yesterday in my vet office. Another x-ray was taken and shockingly a new stone is sitting now directly in the bladder.

Believe me we tried everything what's available on treatments: Shilintong (she didn't like it at all), certainly a special calcium ratio diet, Potassium Citrate (as recommended in Guinea Lynx) and at last Flud-Ad (I've got from Germany). I am devastated now and don't know what to do. Mimi is going to be five in March and I don't know if I should risk a surgery in her age.

She drinks since weeks less so I try to syringe her now Pedialyte (she likes it), but I don't know if that is the right way to got. She always enjoyed otherwise a fresh sip of water and now this.

I am on my wits end and any advice of alternative treatments are more than welcome.
