[Stones] HEALTH: Update on Lucky's Stone Surgery]

Just wanted to update everyone on Lucky's condition, which I'm happy to report is very positive. He had the surgery on Tuesday and I was able to bring him that evening. Nice clean incision and much smaller then when he had surgery 1 1/2 years ago. He was picking at his food initially but started eating pretty well by yesterday and was really digging into his hay. This morning when I went to give his meds , he was perched on his food dish , wheeting and biting on the cage bars to be let out -- I think he is feeling pretty good!!  What a relief to have him back to almost normal. Now the challenge is to keep him stone free. I'll get an analysis of the stone in a couple of weeks but I'm assuming it was a calcium oxalate stone like last time. Thanks to everyone for their moral support and good wishes. Merle and Lucky
