(1) will three boys (litter mates who see to get along well in the pet
store) get along with each other when they mature
yes, absolutely, as long as you keep them away from girls! I have always had
boy-littermates and they always love each other forever
or is it more likely
they would fight with each other and
not at all
(2) is the personality of boy
guinea pigs different than that of girls. {any other differences I
should know about}.
haven't had girls ever, but boys are delicious
Is it desireable to have the boys neutered ? and
if so at what age would that be done ? (any vets out there?)
absolutely not necessary, as long as there are no girls around. if you bring
a girl into the house, anywhere near your 3 boys, even if they can just smell
her, they will probably start to fight. if you want to introduce a girl to
one of them for some reason, you will want to neuter him first. But if you are
just keeping the three boys together, there is no need whatsoever to neuter
any of them.
make sure you have room for a VERY large cage if you are going to have 3
piggies together
